The hiring slump continued into 2023, with gross IT hiring addition hitting an all-time low of 14%, down from a peak of 40% in the first quarter of 2022.

The IT sector is expected to see an 8–10% growth in hiring in 2024, driven by the surge in global capabilities centers (GCCs) and emerging technologies like AI, Blockchain (web3), Cloud computing, Cyber security and deeptech.

It’s time to learn new tech and deep tech and build an incredible career.
